I recently decided to invest in YieldNodes, because of the great results it has achieved over the last three years. So far it’s been a very good experience. The profit has been good, but I’ve been even more impressed with the team. Their openness and transparency has been top notch, despite facing various setbacks in the last couple of months. But just how serious are those setbacks? Let’s find out!

Attack on Sapphire

Sapphire (SAPP) is one of multiple cryptocurrencies for which YieldNodes is a master node operator. Between August 11 and September 7 the value of the token decreased nearly 65%.

According to Urs (Architect of Yieldnodes) this was due to a coordinated attack:

We now know from a relatively reliable source that some “players” wanted to bring SAPP to its knees, as they have recently lost a lot of investors to SAPP and YieldNodes in their projects. According to the information we have, they will soon run out of money.
